Estonian personal and registry codes

This extension provides support for Estonian personal identification and registry codes at the customer level in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Natural and juridical person identification in Estonia is based on the two types of codes:

1) registry code for the juridical person and

2) personal identification code for the natural person.

It is difficult to build reliable customer service if these two codes are not available and customers are not searchable.

This extension solves two important problems: 

• allows to add the personal identification and registry codes to the customer in a convenient way (customer's general data section) and
• allows to search customers by personal identification/registry codes in the customer list.

In addition, the extension extracts the date of birth encoded in the personal identification code and calculates the customer's age. This is valuable additional data that is not treated as personal delicate data in Estonia.

Supported Editions

This extension supports both the Essential and Premium editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
